So at some point within the next few days I'm going to post this/make a life event about it. I'm thinking of saying something along these lines. "So if you haven't noticed it already, I changed my interested in to women. I've known this about myself for a while now, and I'm at a point in my life where I can be comfortable as an out lesbian. I'm still the same person I was yesterday, if not a little more honest. If anybody would like to talk to me personally about this, then please come and talk to me." I'm not sure what else I need to add. Any suggestions? I also want to reword that last sentence.
Hi there! I think your announcement sounds good. The only suggestion I would have is to change the ending to: ... unless you want others to ask you questions.
That's a good point. I do have some religious fiends that I'm not sure about, so I wanted to make it clear that they can talk to me. I may just give them a heads up first.
I see. Maybe you could end it along the lines of: That said, I think giving your friends a heads-up, is a good route to take.
