I want to come out to my best friend, but I keep finding excuses not to. Like, I've only been close with her for a little while, or i should wait untill i get a girlfriend, or somebody else might here, or she might take our friendship the wrong way, ect. I just want to be completely honest, but I can't even bring myself to it! Advice?
Well I dont think its a good idea to wait until you have a girlfriend because she might see that like you didnt trust her. I think if you felt comfortable it would be reasonable to tell her, and just additionally state that you arent interested in her or anything, its just important to you that she knows this part about you.
Could you maybe write a letter to your friend? Or could you text her ahead of time saying there's something you want to tell her, but are having trouble saying? That can help you get started talking.
