I told my parents i was gay and now it just feels awkward They accepted it and my dad was really relaxed.. But my mum.. Yeah she accepted it but she says she feels like a bad parent and she called two helplines.. She said i might change my mind too even though she accepts it but im just getting awkward vibes
Congrats!!!! I had pretty much the same reaction from my parents. The way I see it is, I have their love but not their understanding, and as long as I have their love I can wait for the understanding.
I still haven't told my parent's anything because, unfortunately, I know they won't accept this part of me. It's great that you were able to tell your parents. I'm sure with time it'll get better.
