I live in south africa but am still scared to come out

    Gay marriage and relationship is allowed in sa,but am still scared cos most people in my township are still nt in support of gays,anyone in my shoes?

    My daughter is facing similar situation in small rural area in USA. Our state does not allow same sex marriage and is actually one in which LGBT people can still be fired from or not hired at jobs because of their orientation. Just hang in there. I am sure someone with personal experience will give you some great advice on here soon. I know they have been helping me in so many ways. Good luck to you.

    yea im from nelson new zealand.most people dont care about gay marriage etc.we arnt very religious,but yea even today i had to hear a friend tell me its a mental illness gross etc.and i dont know any open gay guys here.if people have traveled they are more accepting but yea hating gay guys is the norm.
