I came out to my parents back in September, and even though it took them awhile they've fully accepted it. I recently came across this guide for parents, and I emailed it to them. I just got off the phone with them, and they said it was a good primer on LGBT issues and is making them curious about learning more. Hopefully someone else will find this helpful.
