Is it normal if your friend say's awwww poor baby or awwww (your nick name) when you got annoyed by something that not a big deal and they just said it just to tick you off(she says that more than my other two gal friends, to me). she said in a clam steady soft teasing voice. and she to walk close to you while running her hand on your back like scratching it for no reason.and leans close to you at the movie theaters sitting next to one a another.

we are close friends and both girls.

I do not think that this is normal. You seemed to be bothered by it. Have you ever said something to her about this?

Well, if she's only like this with you maybe she is trying to tell you something. Still, it's odd behavior though. If it is bothering you, just ask her to stop. Ask her why she does this.

It's very complicated. Some girls do similar things just for the hell of it, but sometimes it can be a sign of attraction. Eg, I made a friend and we started always being very touchy feely with each other. It was a special kind of serious yet fun behaviour, and eventually it turned into an (almost) relationship, as we both liked each other.

So... just pay attention to the vibe when she does this. Is it just a joke/innocently friendly, or is there a kind of slightly intense seriousness behind it?

Hey, if you like reading tea leaves so much, that's great. But I think she's already given you your answer.

she probably feels like she has a more personal connection with you...so she is always hugging and touchy feely with you...i wouldnt ask her about this thing she does...it may ruin your chemistry/closness in your friendship with her...i think its a good thing that she does that! you can tell that she is a closer friend then your others...maybe she feels you are her best friend too...i wouldnt chance ruining it by asking her why she does that too you..in my own opinion...its a natural thing...guys do it too with some of their friends...but its more of a wrestling around thing...and soft love taps/ punches lol
