The most amazing gift isn't going to depend on how much money you spend. Its going to come from the heart. One of my favorite gifts ever is a scrap book my daughter gave me with all my gay rights accomplishments and articles. Maybe you could make him something?

DON'T LISTEN TO HER. BUY HIM A WII.

Okay... Actually, buy me a Wii.

Maybe you can spend your money on a day with him. Like, take him somewhere fun/romantic. Make his birthday special. A gift can be an event and not just a knick-knack. ^_^

You shouldn't stress about it so much. He said he would like anything you get him right? Well does he have any hobbies? If so then get him something related to his favorite hobbies.

    Wiis...?

Silly Nintendo... They did it for the laughs of hearing little kids seeing lots of them in shops and saying to their parents "Look at all the Wiis!"...

    Tut tut....

(Actually, I've got no idea )

I agree with Becky! I'm not so sure if you really need to spend that much money on a gift. Try giving him something that is meaningful to the both of you. Often the memorable and best gifts aren't the most expensive ones.

I agree that time is the most precious gift u can give someone.

That could mean either the time of making something, the time making something already existing more special or time with him.

I know exactly how busy this man is but i definitely agree that the $400 would the well spent on a day doing something you both enjoy.

One thing that I most enjoyed ever getting was a little bag full of Injoke and objects from injokes and photos of me and my friend. It was really thoughtful and it meant a lot.

Maybe think about all the time you've spent together and make a little bag with stuff that's really meaningful to your bf.

I got that you weren't dating him. If he's straight, then don't do something romantic, otherwise you might creep him out. Most straight guys don't like being hit on by other guys, its annoying.

Anyway, a watch sounds good, lol. Also something that you made is good.

i'm going to agree with her and say get your friend something that has to do with his favorite hobby, leave a gift recept just in case he already has whatever you give him. or you could just get him a gift card to best buy or wall mart or whatever store he usualy goes to.
