Today at school one of my friends was teasing someone for looking gay. I walked up to them and asked them to stop as it's unfair to call someone gay just because they have a 'gay' hairstyle. They responded by saying 'well it doesn't matter there are no gay people to get offended unless you are gay.' To which I replied yes I am right out of the blue without meaning too and you know what it felt great to tell someone.
Congratulations! Probably without even knowing it, you exhibited such bravery today. High five! How did they react to what you said?
I've been in a similar situation myself. I forget what exactly happened, but the conversation got a point where someone asked "Are you gay or something?" "Bitch, I might be!"
You guys are lucky, when I mentioned boyfriends my friends asked if I was gay and I said "no , I'm bi". My friends don't believe me if it's in the right opportunity to reference it they think I'm kidding them.
