I putting together a blog post about my coming out which I am hoping to put on to EC in the next hour or so...

But I am kinda apprehensive because it brings back all the emotions I had at the time and since I was 14...

I feel like it will be positive for me to do it as I've tried to put as much detail about how I felt etc into it but as my exam year English teacher used to say I am a slave to metaphors and using questions as statements so who knows :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Any tips for what I should include, or anything I should definitely leave out before i put it up?

    Hi PM92,

I'm planning on doing the same thing. And I think bringing all those emotions back is a good thing. It lets you make peace with all of, come to grips with it, understand it, put it in a the context of who you are now.

As for what you should include, everything that you think you need to say. We're a very accepting bunch here...

Include what feels right, and forget the rest. It's a blog not a marked assignment, your English teacher has no power here!

Thanks :/ It just seems so strange seeing it down in writing. Its like an emotional roller coaster tbh But even my best friend said i needed to get it down in writing, even if I never did anything about it.

Just tidying it up at this stage (reading it as a whole block makes my eyes hurt lol :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

BTW if you where intending to let other people read it (I assume you're putting it on your profile blog rather than making a forum post) then you'll need to make your blog public first
