Well it all depends on the kind of person you are, what you're into, your environment etc.

Before anyone can really answer, we need to know more about you!

Do you go to uni/college or do you work etc .

I go to a college, not a typical one with a Union Building everyone is older than me. I work as a tutor. I like movies and going out, not bars or anything like that. I just like to enjoy the company of people.

One good way to meet new people is by joining a GLBT group, or a PFLAG chapter in your area. GLBT groups / PFLAG chapters are very welcoming and supportive. Joining a GLBT group or a PFLAG chapter could also provide you with greater resources about your coming out journey if you need it. If you have trouble locating such a group within your city try looking stuff up on the internet. Usually GLBT groups/PFLAG chapters will have regular social events such as movie nights, coffee houses, etc. that you could just join if you wanted to.

Also, try finding out if your college has a GLBT group on campus that you could join. That could be your first step in getting to know new people and from there you will also get to know others outside of the group.

    Hope this helps!
