'Oh phoebe you're so gay!' I don't care, it doesn't matter if someone's gay' 'So you are gay?' '...' 'Are you gay?' No one cares because you're gay No one cares because you're English No one cares because you're a midget No one cares... It's all I get That is all they talk about 'Hey England' 'Hey gay bum' 'Oi midget' They are my friends I don't really care I don't find it offensive My best friend the ONLY ONE who didn't call my this asked me the other day 'Phoebe are you actually gay?' I was going to come out next year and then the following year to my parent I had a PLAN Then I realised: it is hard. My heart froze. I froze. I nearly managed to stutter my no either know I was. I just am not ready. What should I do?
Maybe if you trust your friend to keep it a secret, you could tell him/her. You are in a tricky situation and he/she may already know because of your reaction, so hopefully my suggestion helps
Even if you had a plan to come out, sometimes you just have to adjust to whatever obsticle comes your way. I agree with DX1118C, when he says that your friend may all ready know based on your reaction. This is a tough situation to be in so stay strong.
Perhaps it would be easier to tell your best friend over text. I know it took me a very long time to allow those words to come out of my own mouth.
