    So, let me preface by saying that I'm nowhere close to coming out, beyond the people in my life who already know I'm questioning. With that said, this speech makes me think that someday I might be able to. It's not long, but I found it very poignant even so.

    I saw that a while ago. I love her pancake girl story, too. I wish I could have answered the kid that easily when I've been asked that question.

    Yeah, everyone's closet is black when the door is closed. So much easier to have empathy for the hard discussions other people have to face.
