I came out to my high school friend this week on facebook

I left a coming out message to my friend telling her that I'm lesbian since she's told me about her having a daughter 3 years ago . I did it because she's always talking to me about guys and I feel awkward about it plus we've been friends for so long so I think I should tell her . I hadn't gotten a response but I'm waiting to see if she'll still be friends with me.
I hope she'll still be friends

First of all congrats when you come out to someone waitting for a repsonse is horrbile because you dont know how they feel i really hope you get a good response and she is still your friend so good luck.
