I'm coming out to my dad today. We are both super conservative and Christ following. My sister will be there, and she is a straight ally. I am worried about how he will react. Last night, he told me he still loves me. He thinks I am Bisexual but I have yet to tell him I am fully lesbian. Anyway, the main question is, how do I come out to him? what should I say? All help is appreciated!
Well, the fact that he's accepted you being bisexual (even if you aren't) is a good sign, I think. He's opened minded at the least, ya know? And you'll have your sister's support as well. If I were you, I'd sit him down and just tell him. But before you do, maybe scribble your thoughts down and everything you want to say on paper so if you have something you really want to say, you wont let your fretting nerves stop you from saying it.
