So comming out to my parents was rought, but after 9 months now, my mother finaly told me that "god has spoked to her" and that she sees how homosexuality is normal, and she told me to find a boyfriend. My point; it takes a long time for some parents to accept you.
Hi there! I'm happy for you that your mom has come to understand that homosexuality is something normal, and that she has started to become accepting.
That's great to hear! Gotta say, I'm always sort of amused when someone can't accept something because of religious teachings, and then proclaims that God has spoken to them, which makes it OK. But whatever the rationalization, it's fantastic news and I hope it's a start to a new level of openness between you and your mom.
That's good to hear - you must be over the moon! My parents are very religious as well and I had the quotes about how this decision is wrong when I came out. Hopefully my parents will eventually see that it's not "wrong" as well
