My next appointment with my psychiatrist (for depression and anxiety issues) is in a few weeks, and I'm debating whether to tell her that I'm pretty sure I'm trans*. Is there any point to this? I can't see a gender therapist right now because I still live with my parents, but I want someone in real life to know. I'm not sure if she'd even be able to help at all, though, since she mostly talks to me about my depression meds. Any advice on whether to tell her? And any tips on how to actually tell her if I decide that that's best? Thanks in advance.

What ever you tell your therapist is strictly confidential and she will not judge you either way for it. Tell her, it's good to share.

My therapist and psychiatrist both know. They SHOULD be easy to tell (relatively) if you trust their professionalism and are comfortable.
