Hi All. I was just wondering if anyone can recommend any good books or articles geared towards spouses of those of us coming out. I'd like to gain some insight into their perspective before having my 'talk'. Or if anyone has any specific experiences they would like to share, that would be great as well.
http://community.pflag.org/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?pid=194&srcid=-2 might give you some resources to share and point you in the direction of other stuff you might wish to consult.
PFLAG materials are the standard reading material you can find online. As for hard copy books I haven't got anything for you. http://community.pflag.org/NETCOMMUNITY/Page.aspx?pid=594&srcid=539 It has one article called "Opening the Straight Spouses' Closet" which may be helpful.
I was going to suggest that brochure, thanks Derek! Also you might look into the Straight Spouses Network. http://www.straightspouse.org/
Thank you greatly for the prompt responses. I've already downloaded and started reviewing the article from PFLAG. Thanks again!!!
Hi! I came across the following book that might be useful to you: Amity Pierce Buxton. "The Other Side of the Closet: The Coming-Out Crisis for Straight Spouses and Families."
