I started wearing a rainbow bracelet today. I made it myself out of embroidery thread, which is what people typically make friendship bracelets from. I haven't told any of me friends yet, but that's mainly because I don't have everything totally sorted through myself, though I am almost certain I am lesbian. But yeah, the bracelet is tied around my wrist!

Im planning on being more open about it when I go off to college, but for now, subtlety is key. My mom and I agree that its not quite time to talk to my dad, who is not exactly the most tolerant man.

SemiCharmedLife: cool! I made mine because I had materials, and I had nothing to do at school today. Literally. I kinda just sat there tying a bracelet.

    Dex: that's gorgeous!

DestinyInfinity: Maybe no one will understand mine, but that's okay. I'm still taking baby steps.

Oh, and since I'm growing my hair out for a Halloween costume- I get super intense about Halloween...-, I keep it in a braid and have a collection of flower clips to stick in the top. I'm also trying to find a rainbow one of those too. I think that'll be my next baby step. It's more noticeable, but also not obvious.

Same as you, once I get to university, I'm going to be more open about my sexuality. Well, I'm out to everyone except my family and one or two friends. Most of the important people in my life know, but I want to come out 'more'. XD
I'm thinking of ordering a rainbow wristband off Amazon or something, because I lack the skill to actually make something that fabulous! Although- I do have a rather cool pair of thigh-high rainbow coloured socks.

I just purchased a pride ring and I am anxious to start wearing. To be honest, I'll probably never take it off! One of the reasons I ordered it is because I want other lesbians to notice me. It is hard to get other lesbians to notice me because I am a femme. I look very girly and I am in love with doing my hair and makeup. This is why I am hoping the ring will help get me noticed...I am tired of being invisible. There are other reasons I ordered it too, of course, I am finally happy about who I am and am ready to share that side of me to the world.

I wear one all the time. Can't wear it at home because my parents don't approve of it. I get lectured…
But I wear it when I'm out of the house. And whenever I can. This is why I'm excited for collage next August.

Look up tutorials on making friendship bracelets! They're cheap and easy to make.

One last thing on friendship bracelets: if you make a long one, it can be a necklace.

I got one of my friends to make me an ace bracelet using some weird rubber band things that have become a craze at our school. I don't wear it at school because it's not allowed but I wear it at home and out and about. I'm thinking of getting a black ring to wear as well.(Though I often find rings uncomfortable)
I wish there were more ace pride things for sale :/

Have you checked Etsy? Its kinda like Amazon.com for generally small-scale businesses and artists and individuals who just like making things. Try searching asexual, or ace pride, or asexual pride and so on. When Itested it, there wwere quite a few options.
