I had a perfect situation going on just a second ago. I have drawn a rainbow on my wrist, and at the dining table my older sister asked "what's that?" "uhhhhhh.....nothing" "nothing? You've just drawn a rainbow on your wrist?" "welll yea" I feel so failed right now. My mother, my sister and brother were there, and I just say "nothing"!
Don't worry about it, wasn't a failure! Every single one of us messes up in spontaneous and unplanned situations sometimes. And we all think of something we could have said or done better. It's very human. So don't worry, just try to plan for the right moment and come out when it suits you. (*hug*) And it seems like your family isn't of the kind to reject you, right?
You shouldn't worry, you'll have another chance to come out if you feel you're ready to come out to them. Everyone makes mistakes so can you Cheer up.
I had same kinda situation my mom found me writing message here and asked about this site. I said : im txting to dad. She replied : that dosent look like message site. It was really akward! Dont know why i told that obivious lie.
Hey!! Don't worry. I agree fully with the ones above. Don't think so much about that. It only causes you worries.
You were put under pressure! Don't worry... you will come out when you REALLY feel the time is optimal. I've had soooo many of those moments, and I'm STILL not out to everyone! Maybe, deep down, you really just wanted them to begin to question your sexuality, without having to come out to them just yet. I think I must hae felt similarly at times myself...
Lol dont even worry. Like 4 people asked me if i was gay/bi and I denied it all before coming out to people this year. There's no rush
Don;t feel failed. Failing is not trying anything in the first place. You decided to give the hint, plant the seed that you were gay, it will manifest into actual questioning and you can actual come out. "What ever happened happened and couldn't happen any other way." -Morpheus
