I am looking for some creative/ different ways to come out to my family. If I can make them laugh, that would be great. I know they will be totally accepting, so I figure, why not have fun with it? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
You can make a video or a funny letter and tell them to see it when you're not in home so when you come back home you can see what face they make Maybe you can make a treasure map and when they finish the treasure is a paper where is written ''Mum,Dad...I'm lesbian!'' (or whatever you wanna write haha)
I like the video idea. I might actually combine the two, that would be funny. i could leave 7 clues, one in each color of the rainbow, and and then stick a flash drive in the last location. Thanks!
You could tell a series of jokes. Barrage them with a series of the most random things you can think of. And then follow up with a knock-knock joke like this: Knock knock. Who's there? Your daughter. You daughter who... Is a lesbian. Idk, that just kind of popped into my head. But good luck!
Cake! Or (and this is something I've always wanted to do) hide in a closet and then dramatically jump out. Or something. Something with a physical closet.
I like the idea of hiding in the closet until someone looks for you or asks where you are. Then, you can walk out saying something along the lines of "I'm coming out of the closet." Then you can throw some confetti or something.
That could be funny. Thanks. I've just realized that my mother almost certainly knows already, though she probably thinks I'm bi. Now I have to come up with something that will surprise her anyway.
I'd take a picture of a closed closet then a picture of you leaping out of it. Let them figure it out. maybe even photoshop a rainbow in there.
