Meeting The Parents

    My Girlfriend and I are planning on coming out in a few years. When we do though, I'm worried her parents will think different of me than they do now. They think we're pretty close friends but they have basically no idea about us being together. The only thing they have that could slightly count, Is when her dad saw us sleeping in the same bed.

    My question is, Should I be this worried? Do you think they might change the way they view me? I've been freaking out all day about this.

    If they are accepting in general of LGBTQ people, and they like you, then there shouldn't be any problems. Just remember that even the most accepting of people can take time to adjust. Good luck!
