Okay so last week about i posted about my dads girlfriend Mel
and how she told her two sons about me being gay, even though i asked her not to.

Okay, in our house every month or so Neil (my dad, ive seemed to call him that more often nowdays) and Mel fight.

So when i new one starts its nothing new and we all just tend to laugh at how mental she can be.

"You started it" is a good one we hear a lot.

Okay so in her old marrige her ex-husband used to beat her.
    Horribly.

Okay so now shes on a mission to never get the better off even when shes in the wrong.

She pushes Neil, to most sweetest man you could find in a relationship.

Whos never had a good life, everything bad that can happens to him does.

He would never even hurt a fly.

Okay so after this argument hes decided to go out with some friends to clear his head.

Now shes not moving out the way of the door.
Her 26 year old son has to restrain her from hitting Neil.
And as i type this she just shot a vacuum cleaner down the stairs after him.

Im not blaming myself, actually to some extent i find it ammusing.
I just wish she would leave.
She can be so nice and helpful and caring.

but out of the blue she says to my dad, (because SHEs lost HER job)
"yano, if you had a better job i wouldnt have to work"
This, obviously isnt something you say to someone who has worked all his life since he was sixteen to bring up his family, whos wife died which pushed him on the edge of suicide only to regain sanity from his 2 young sons, who has now moved into more debt than ever before, with the wicked witch of the west.

    So the argument starts.
    Then out of the blue.
    shes comes out with.

"ILL GET A JOB NEIL ITS NOT A PROBLEM JUST SHUT UP ABOUT IT"

Now call me biased for being my fathers son, but ive heard every word of this argument and not once has he mentioned her not having a job.

    ...Mental.

Sorry i cant be bothered to proof read this im going to see what happening now and see were its leading.

    Peace

I hope the peace is a wish for you, since you seem to need it more than us.

Tell your dad to use the back door.

I hope things get better. It seems like your dad's girlfriend needs to let some of her old ghosts go and realize that she isn't in the same situation she was before and realize what she has right in front of her. I think she needs to talk to somebody, actually both of them could benefit from talking to somebody (together).

Apart from telling your dad how unhappy these fights are making you there is not a lot you can do. Just let him know how much you love and support him and hope that this will help him through the difficult times.

She came upto me and said she didnt say about word about to her sons.
    I never said she did.
She didn't apologize though, just made an excuse for herself.
Then she told me how she knows i don't like her, and how she feels nothing she can do will change that.
She said shes tried her best to get along with me and my brother.
    blah blah blah.

I got a bit sick of it at that so i took noticed of how dirty my shoes were.
Now shes blabbering on the phone to her friend about how Neil called her lazy and how he throws spites at her all the time for not having a job.

Im dying to pick up the phone and tell that horrible slag to shut the fuck up.
She twists things in her head.
If someone is in the right, she'll twist the conversation so shes in the right.
Like how the conversation was never about HER job.
Now apparently Neil has called her lazy and bone idol.

Im going to tell her all of this.
At this point, (the same point it gets to all the time; "Im leaving as soon as i can!!") things can only get better.

Its not as if i care anymore.
She goes on about how much attention Neil doesnt give her.
    She needs more attention.
    She needs more compliments.

She needs to fuck right off.

She thinks life revolves around her.
She thinks that her losing her job automatically makes everyone elses world stop so we all fell sorry for her.

Anyway she says she leaving when she can.
    Move out...

At least i have something to look forward to

Man, that's pretty rough. Glad to hear she's leaving. Having someone like that around can tear a family apart. The sooner you have some peace back the better you'll be. Just make sure she doesn't get between you and your father, and you'll be fine.

    >>>Im going to tell her all of this.

Absolutely no reason to do this.

The thing to remember is that people who act like this, who twist reality around to suit their own purpose, never fool anyone but themselves. (And, quite often, not even then.) Whoever she's bitching to on the phone isn't going to believe her, none of you believe her, so why not let her continue babbling her stories?

Shrug it off. Rise above. You'll be happy you did.

    Her friends all beleive her.
Thats why my dad gets dirty looks and odd vibes from them.

Its like they have one big crazy sindicate.

Oh and to put the cherry on top of the icing.
She told me dad that i smoke/smoked/in the process of giving up.

So ive just had 2 hour drunken lecture off him.
About how much ive disappointed him.

On the up side, my sexuality came up again.
He just brushed it off as if he was totally comfortable with it.

And apparently shes out by the end of the week.

"Im taking my two sons and im fucking off"

She has no money, but apparently shes getting a mini loan from a friend.
Her 2 sons wont have access to the internet which is a laughable thought.

They weren't as thrilled with the idea as she was.

    Anywho.
    Tomorrow should be entertaining.

Ive got enrollment for my college

Sounds like someone needs to visit the therapist, or loony-bin.

Hope all gets better, and I hope Neil finds someone who truly appreciates him.

(and I know this is my aggressive part of me... but I would have had to let her have it. (not physical, but I would have had to put an end to it, and kick her out. I can't put up with BS like that around me.)

Just don't make more trouble by playing head games... don't stoop to her level. (not saying you are, just want to make sure you don't)

But I would try to put an end to her childish ways. Ask her why she feels the need to be violent? Set her up with a surprise appointment with a therapist, etc.
