Yesterday I was talking with my parents and my mom brought up the Burger King Proud Whopper. My mom has always been able to talk to me about anything LGBT related but since I came out in January 2013 my dad had never said anything, let alone even acknowledge me as being gay. Yesterday I had mentioned that some homophobes did not like the proud whopper campaign from BK and he said whats not to like about it. He finally acknowledged something positive about something LGBT. It made my day just a little better.

    That's great and also congratulations!
Although, that's all he said its clear that your dad is making an effort to understand and accept your sexual orientation. Sooo for that congratulations again, and also good luck
