I'm gender fluid and bisexual, I told my friends about a year ago that I'm bisexual and they were pretty accepting (a couple were a bit confused but still accepted it) and now I want to tell them that I'm gender fluid so that they can use my chosen name and pronouns but I'm not sure how to go about explaining it. I brought up the idea of gender fluidity a while ago and most of them dismissed it and said it was too confusing for them to worry about. Does anyone know how I could explain it so that they understand what it is?

we discuss sexuality quite a lot but we don't really discuss gender identities
