Should I come out to a best friend if he is a seminarian?

    I've been thinking about who to come out to and when, and I realized that one of my friends is going into the seminary to become a priest. He is once of the nicest guys I know, and I don't think I could just come out to all my other friends but not him. I think he deserves to know, but the fact that he wants to become a priest kind of scares me. I know a true friend will accept me for who I am, but this seems like a weird situation. Thoughts? Advice?

    just because he wants to be a priest does NOT necessarily mean he might not accept you, there are accepting priests and ministers out there also gay ones too

    I don't know, I think I'm going to plan on it, but its not set in stone right now.

    Yeah, he should be your friend no matter what and accept you in and out. Don't let the priest thing scare you. Please update us on what happens and good luck :slight_smile:.
