For those of you who haven't read my previous threads, I was anxious about coming out to my parents, as although I knew they support LGBTQ+ rights, I feared that they wouldn't take me seriously. I came out to my mom yesterday, and sure enough, she basically said I'm too young to know, and that I need to be in a relationship to be sure.

First of all, congratulations! (*hug*) Coming out is a brave thing to do!

Secondly, the you're too young to know is not true for all (although it is for some). I think you shouldn't focus on her reply. You came out, and that's very good. Well done! :eusa_clap
