I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I've told my mom I'm gay! There was a English assignment I had to do for school, and I was having her check it, after correcting my mistakes on it I also added "+ I'm gay, I hope this doesn't change anything between us, I love you!" And she took really well! She told me that she had thought that I might be gay and that it didn't change anything between us, and that if I am just questioning and turns out that I'm not gay that it is okay, and that if I am gay, I was born this way and she loves me . So it went really well. Luckily
Thanks! I'm glad coming out went over well, sadly she has been asking me A LOT if I'm sure I'm gay, and if I'm not it's okay... -_-
Thanks everybody! I am so happy with how it is, it isn't perfect, but it is better then a lot of situations.
Good for you. Not only have you got tne. Acceptance of your mother, which is great, but at least you will also now have that pillar of support should you choose to come out to others. Congratulations, Happy days
wow, congrats. and don't worry about mom asking, i suspect that while she accepts she may still be processing the new normal in her world. she'll come around.
