Good news! Came out to mom.

    I almost died of nervousness... I had tried to tell her the night before on a long drive home, but I just couldn't say it... I sat at the table talking to my mom and eating lunch. She must have noticed the look on my face as I tried to gather my courage. "What's wrong?" She said. "Nothing." I lied. JUST SAY IT BEFORE YOU LOSE YOUR NERVE! I took a deep breath, and immediately went into adrenaline mode. The world around me slowed ever so slightly. I felt detached from self and my surroundings. "Mom can I talk to you about something?" I blurted. "Sure. Is it embarrassing?" She asked noticing my beet-red face again. I just said it finally. "Mom, I think I'm gay."

    After that, she asked some questions and we talked. She was actual not caught completely off-guard as I had thought she would be... she said she had thought I was bisexual or gay for a while. She said she loved me and accepted me just how I am. I honestly could not have asked for a better reaction. It feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest.
