So here's me story so far (if you care). I'm gay (I like men) but I also think I'm trans (FTM). I'm out as gay to 2 out of 3 siblings, my mother and all my friends. I still haven't told my father and I don't want to just sit him down and tell him. I want to wait until I'm in a relationship and just tell him I have a boyfriend. Do you think its a good idea! If you're ok with waiting and think you'd have an easier time telling him in that situation I think it's a good idea. Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable is the right way to go
No I'd advise don't tell him when you have a boyfriend, that's two things you'll be telling him that he will have to deal with. Some people I know have had negative experiences doing it that way. I'd tell him sooner rather than later as its better coming from you.
