    Today is the day. October 11th, national coming out day, if I got the day right. Either way, I am coming out to my mom. I am so nervous and need all the support I can get. Thanks.

    Hi there! If you feel safe about it, then I say go for it! Make sure you consider your safety first so that there won't be issues with coming out. I came out to my school and sisters today and it has gone great so far. I wish you the best of luck :slight_smile:

    I wrote her a letter and she wrote back. Here's what she said:

    I am in tears at how well she took it. My parents are both catholic, so I was terrified. This has been great. Thanks to everyone who supported me.
