Today I came out to a person in my life who's been there for me and helped me through a lot of stuff with my volatile home situation. I was really nervous to tell him, but I felt like I should; I ended up texting him because that's what was easiest for me. He's a really bad texter, so I had to wait a couple of hours (the longest couple hours of my life) but it went well, and he said: "I'm stoked to hear it! You sound happy, which is the most important thing." And we proceeded to talk about the girl I like for a good hour as he gave me advice for how to ask her out. It was the best experience I could've asked for and I'm so grateful.
