I'm wondering how to come out to my best mate, I know he is not homophobic, should I tell him he was my crush in late high school and the year after, even now I still find him hot and cute especially in photos. I'm having breakfast with him tomorrow and I want some tips on how I should come out and what else should I tell him.
I would start by being direct and once the coffee is poured just tell him how much you mean to him as a friend, so your to tell him something very personal, and then tell him that your gay. If you feel compelled to tell him you once had a crush on him, you should do so in a way to remove any risk of making him feel uncomfortable. The best way to do that would be to do it in somewhat of a joking way "and would you believe there was a time I even had a crush on you, what was I thinking?"
