    I dyed my hair red.

The guy I'm going out with says it looks horrible.

Another guy who I find hot says it looks horrible.

    ------------------------------------------------------ (therefore)

I'm crying, and I feel suicidal.

Well, if it's the picture to the left of your post, I think it looks fantastic, but that's just me. The good news for you is... it's easy to fix (if you want to fix it). Just get it re-dyed once your scalp can handle a second batch. But I like the red myself. In fact, my bangs are bright red right now :icon_bigg

That's photoshop. The actual color is more subdued. But still - I feel miserable. I like it but those who should like it don't. :frowning2:

What Noah says is absolutely true. If it bothers you so much, then you can get it re-dyed. I'm sorry for their comments, but please don't let their opinions bring you down so much dear. (*hug*)

I personally don't like any kind of unnatural hair color, but my opinion is pretty unimportant in this case. Don't worry too much about it.

I'd have preferred you to keep that opinion to yourself - I've been told that the red looks bad too many times today, thank you.

I must say, any color you choose to have will look good if you know how to use it. I know you do. And I bet that any shade of red you choose looks very good on you.

I like it. Even though it is photoshopped, but you look Hot in red. At the end, Fire is red, and fire is HOT. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If you like it, and you believe it looks good, then keep it. If you believe that what these other people have said is true, then you can consider the option of changing it. But, please don't take too much stock in what others say. There's always going to be people that like the opposite thing you do. That's why they control their hair. And you control yours.

I honestly think it looks fine, but, whatever. You say you're getting it covered. I hope you like it once it's covered. I truly do.

I won't. I'll feel incredibly stupid for having spent a lot of money on it (because it cost me a bunch)

It looks fine in my opinion. But since you say you're covering it, it shouldn't be a big deal for much longer. Hope you like the outcome of it once you cover over it.

Its your hair and you have a couple of options:
    1. Live with it until it fades
    2. Re-Dye it, even though you may have to wait a few weeks
    3. Shave it all off and start with a clean slate

Either way, its your hair, if you don't like it then you can change it, no one else's opinion should matter. If you don't like it look at it this way, now you know what color you don't like.

But if my opinion means anything, it looks fine to me.

Oh well - if you're too skinny, dye your hair red and you'll look fatter...

Seriously Fred, if you feel 'suicidal' because a couple of people don't like the colour you have dyed your hair - I think you should tell THEM to 'lighten up'.

It's a colour. It's temporary. It can easily be changed (and from what you are saying I'm guessing it will be - ASAP).

Don't let THEM get to to. You tried something...they don't like it...whether for that reason (or not) you don't either. So what - big deal.

If that is all that matters in their universe - they are waaay too shallow.

If you are letting their adverse opinions get to you - well, f##k 'em...

But - to make yourself feel better - maybe it might be wise to get it changed back?

Then, if it were me, I'd probably be bloody minded enough to just say 'up yours' and leave it how it is for another week or so - just to piss them off (but that's me, LOL).

Ditto on TriBi's advice! Fred, don't let these a-holes get to you! You are a handsome man and the red hair looks great if you ask me!

If YOU don't like it then change it as soon as you can but don't go changing it just because they don't they will get used to it sooner or later it probably just looks like a big change at the moment as with anything new.

Fred, red hair rocks. Talk to the guy your going out with. Ask him why exactly he doesn't like it. Maybe you can make a minor or subtle adjustment that'll make you both happy. And in the future, it would be wise to consult your partner in matters that may concern him.

It's hair.If your partner doesn't like it,that's his fault.I don't think you should have to consult him about this because it's your hair and if you like it well that's all that should matter to you and to your partner.
