I've been mostly in the closet since I moved to a different state 10 years ago. In my previous state I was in a relationship and so everyone knew by virtue of that. When I moved, it seemed really weird to bring the topic up when I'm single. Most of my current friends don't talk about relationships all that much, so it really never comes up naturally. Now, though, I'm starting to be interested in dating again and if people knew I might get some interest among friends of friends. Anyone have natural ways of bringing this up?
Well what about talking about lgbt series, like the l-word... or favourite actor, you saying its an actress...
I admit I came out largley on a whim, but it does lift a massive weight off of your shoulders and is definitely a good thing to do. I did it over text, which I think is possibly the best way of doing it, and as it's in the middle of the holiday's, my friend has time to think it over. Just how I did it.
