This is more in the nature of venting than needing advice. I posted a thread last week about coming out to my parents and mentioned that my mom reacted badly. She's been a total bitch to me since. I'm writing a term paper for English and asked her to proofread it, but she threw it back at me because I used the word 'we' once including myself with gay people. I have no patience to deal with her! :bang::bang:

You could try to talk to her...

saying that being gay is not a choice...
you could have a look here:
    Empty Closets - For Parents
->But I don't want my child to be gay!
I personally would print the paragraph and show...

and you could ask her why she is against it...
    really and honestly...

    arguments might be:
    - does she want grandchildren -> all possible
    - what would the neighbours think -> you're not there to live a life for others, and parents should support their children... etc...

If you do not know what to say, you might just collect what she says, and tell her you need some time to think about it, look up and rethink some arguments and talk with her again a day later...
