I want my family to use they/them pronouns for me, but how do I go about telling them I don't want to identify as any particular gender? :help:

Do you know if your parents are accepting of transgender people? If you don't know this, then that may be a good thing to find out before you come out. Also, do you know if they are aware of gender neutral identities? If they are not, you will for sure want to have some educational material printed out to show them.

As for how you want to come out, you could do whatever you feel comfortable doing. I've told people in person, on facebook, and I have written letters. It really just comes down to what you feel the most comfortable doing.
