My family on my mother's side is very Catholic. I really want to come out to them as gender neutral and biromantic, but my mom doesn't want me to and they are very important to me. I already told them that I am Wiccan and they took that very well, but the Catholic religion is very against homosexuality. I see the entire family at the end of this summer for my uncle's wedding, what should I do?:help:

perhaps there is someone in the family that is a bit more open minded. you could come out to them first, to try to build up some allies.

I agree with wildside, find someone in your family who is understanding and open and maybe with their help you can find others who are the same and they can help you tell the rest of your family and support and defend you in your choices.
