my life sucks

ok so yesterday i was at a speech and debate meeting and my partner in the thing didn't want to give me a ride home so i was like ok and then i asked the guy next to me who is also a good friend and he said he'd give me a ride if i didn't mind waiting till 8 so i said oh ok and went back to listening to the teams practiced peices anyways around 6:30 everyone (my friends) got up to leave cause they had martial arts and i went running with them so there i was running and they hop into there indivudial cars i saw my partner drive away and i thought it was ok since she didn't want to give me a ride home and then headed to the guys car who would give me a ride and he just.....Pulled out and left me i just kinda stood in the parking lot shocked and completly and utterly bummed i mean i can't believe they just pulled out like that and left me i've been kinda off about the whole thing all day today and ingnoring them as much as i could but my parnter seeing as she is my partner in the whole speech thing i forgave but the other guys i've been ignoring is that bad of me? i feel really bad for ignoring them they've been kinda wanting to talk to me all day and it's really really hard to ignore them but i've been doing it and it makes me feel awful i mean really should i be feeling awful?

You did nothing wrong. You got abandoned! You have every right to be pissed.

ok...so apparently i missed key words like "yesterday" and "today". sorry about that! this all makes a lot more sense now.

have you asked them why they left you there? did they forget, or were they mad at you for something?

Words do tend to get lost in giant paragraphs and run-on sentences!*ahem*

You should figure out if they left you on purpose. If they did, then you have a right to be mad and ignore them. If they didn't do it on purpose, chalk it up to miscommunication and explain why you were ignoring them. Don't feel bad though; you had a valid reason to be mad, even if it was just miscommunication.

Are there more events you want to talk about, or is the title of this thread a bit of an exageration?!?!?!?

If you think leaving without giving you a ride is bad, I don't think it compares to ignoring someone or giving them the 'silent treatment'. That seems a little immature.

You've forgiven your partner, but do they even know? Do they know you were upset, and that you've not forgiven them? Because if all that has happened in your head, you're the only person that knows. Other people don't know what your thinking. So being childish and ignoring them when they try to talk to you just makes it more likely that next time they'll leave without you again.
