Hey everyone, I just wanted to make a thread talking about finally being out after nearly three years after my first post.
In June of 2012 I made a post admitting I was gay and not having a clue as to what to do. Since then I have made many posts and have come out to basically everyone. I never thought I would ever be at this point in my life and I want to thank this community for all the help you guys have given me.
I Even have a boyfriend who I've been dating for about three weeks too!

Thanks again everyone! I will continue to post because I know I will still need advice and I will try to offer advice in the future as well!

Good for you! I hope that you are able to find happiness and a sense of fulfillment and pride as you enjoy life outside of the closet.

I await the day I can make a post like this. 8 months have passed since I joined this website and I am still figuring things out.

It's always a fantastic thing to hear people share their stories. That's really what EC is all about. Thank you for sharing, AND for sticking around! The community really benefits from the experiences and knowledge of those who have been through the process.

That's amazing! Coming Out gives you a sense of being your true yourself... so they say. I haven't come out yet. <3 I hope you and your boyfriend have a long, happy relationship.

Thanks for posting this, and congratulations!
I was feeling pretty miserable with the fact that I wrote my first post around 6 months ago with the purpose to start coming out to my friends and family, and so far I haven't been able to do so, which makes me sad. But I guess it's a process. It's nice to hear a success story!
