This friend I'm thinking about coming out to I've been friends with her for a while now, and I can trust her. She's always there for me! How should I tell her I'm trans?
Make sure not to do it in the middle of a big laugh. Make her realize you want to say something important. 'Hey... I need to tell you something.' Make sure she's listening properly. And then just say it, and say it with certainty. 'I'm a guy. I'm trans.' or words to that effect. GL! hugs (*hug*)
Maybe something along the lines of: "Hey, did you know that I'm magically going to become male over the next few years. Isn't that great! " "Ok, more seriously, I'm going to go through a process of transition because deep down I feel as if I'm male, just stuck in a female body, it's terriilfying but definitely going to be an interesting ride! (With a smile)" I hope it goes well.
