My mom is walking the dog and when the gets backnin 30mins and she is going to come talk to me in my room, I kinda asked for her to come... I will tell her I'm gay Any advice?!
Be honest and straightforward. Make sure that you reinforce that you are still the same person that she says she is proud of. Also, reinforce that you love her very much. Best of luck and let us know how it goes.
First of all good luck! Second of all,make sure you bring it up in a positive light.If you put a negative spin on it then your mom will adopt the negative feelings regsrdless of how she really feels.Remind her that you are still the same person you were an hour ago before she knew.Let her know that you love her and that you wanted her to know more of you and that was why you told her. If she seems to need time to process this,give her that time.
