how does a female come out to a traditional mexican family

Well first off I grew up in a traditional mexican and catholic household. Where family would make fun of the lgbt community. No one takes it seriously and whenever the topic comes up there is always jokes and rude comments made. Always was taught that it is a sin to be attracted to the same gender and will end up in hell. I just have no idea how I can come out to them. I've tried talking to them about sexual orientation before but they quickly change the subject. I don't know if they think it's more embarrassing for them because I'm a woman. I'm just completely lost.
