Hi there! Welcome to Empty Closets!

Often times, it is a lot easier to start coming out to a friend, whom you trust and know is or will be supportive, before letting your parents/family know. Think about your circle of friends, is there one friend that you could come out to?

How comfortable would you feel with speaking with that friend in person? Is there a place and/or time where you feel would be good to speak with that friend?

Start with one person, and then try to build your support network from there. With each coming out, you will become more confident as well as comfortable not only with yourself, and being able to talk about yourself, but also with others knowing.
