Giving Out Resources

Discussion in 'Coming Out Advice' started by FeistyConfusion, Jun 19, 2015.

  1. I know some people have a set of resources (links, etc.) to give to friends and family after coming out to them, especially after coming out to people who are less knowledgeable about that kind of thing. If you've done this, I was wondering how you approached it. Did you just gather a few links and send them with very little explanation? Did you write an explanation of your own and sprinkle external links here and there? If so, how long was your document? I'm trying to figure out how I'd like to go about this. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you're dealing with religious people, and can say what religions and specifically what denominations or sects within those religions those people are, I may have some resources for you. But if the people you're looking to come out to are not deeply religious, it wouldn't make any sense to use these resources.
