I just came out for the first time!!!

I just came out to my friend!!!! It was my first time telling anyone and I was SOOO nervous I could barely get the words out, but it went really well!! She said she is really glad I told her and she is happy that I chose her to confide in and that I can talk to her anytime, and she was really supportive and was really encouraging and it was amazing!! YAY! :icon_bigg I am so happy!!! :eusa_danc

 

Thanks so much everyone! Yes, it is an amazing feeling! And as hard as it was to say, having the secret and worrying about coming out was a lot worse than actually doing it. Chicagoblue, I think you have me mixed up with someone else--I am not married! I hope whoever it is sees your message though! Yeah Jose, exactly! I thought she would be fine with it but of course I couldn't really be sure, but she was totally amazing! Honestly, I think she reacted better than I would have if a friend came out to me! hahaha She knew exactly what to say! It was really awesome.

As an update, I also went to my first-ever lesbian event last weekend! I was surprised at how calm I was feeling on the way there and walking into the building, but once I got to the room and saw everyone I did start to feel really nervous! However, the hostess made sure to make everyone feel welcome, so I stopped feeling as awkward after a little while. Anyway, that was a big moment also! I hope to go back again to the next one in a few weeks. :icon_bigg
