I told him I think I'm trans or genderfluid and even though he was like supportive an whatever I just felt like I sounded crazy to him and I don't think he really believed me but just went along. When I told him I was bi last year I felt relieved and comfortable, but this time I felt neither of those, now I feel like I shouldn't talk to him about my gender at all.
It was probably a shock to them. Most people don't even know there are more than two genders. Next time you see them, explain your situation a bit more and ask what they think. Tell them to be completely honest with you so you can get rid of any misunderstandings. Hope this helps (*hug*)
