I failed linear algebra for the second time. I'm beginning to think that I'm not smart enough to follow my career option.
Have you gotten any help with this? ie: tutoring, having a classmate help you? I know there are learning centers for these problems. (not sure if they're everywhere, but I do know they exist.) That's about all I can think of. Good luck.
Aw. Don't give up! Keep going. I know you can do it. : ) Maybe you should get a tutor? That's all I can suggest other than more practice; I'm sure it'll click eventually. : )
Don't worry some people just don't take to math :icon_wink. What career are you planning on taking up?
Hey man, Your not stupid! Some things are just hard to understand. I still don't get stuff and probably never will, and we are all different. But i try to get the general ide and write a step by step procedure to be able to figure it out (when i need to). Get help from someone who understands and knows the stuff for the procedure, and don't force yourself to understand it (just understand the procedure). It will probably become clear by it's self. Have you talked to the teacher about this? Maybe they can offer you suggestions to help you. Or go to a library and see if they have books to help better explain what it is that's confusing you.
yep some things are hard to understand. i sucks at math too but im good at english (btw math and english is a major subject here in our country) but trust me if you put yourself into it you might understand it. try learning it in your own way and maybe it helps.
Sorry to hear that. Maybe you should talk to some classmates or the teacher about it? It's not that you're too stupid for it, linear algebra sounds like it's almost impossible to understand or even pass! I know for sure I would fail that class too. Math isn't my thing. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
Try not to feel too down. Math is hard. You are dealing with very abstract concepts and it hurts my brain to think about most of them. I have an engineering degree and I got a C in every math class I took, except 1 and I only got a B there. I did use the math a lot after the math classes but it is so much easier now. Because all I need to do is just set up the problem and then I would stick it in a computer and let it crunch away on it.
