i'm getting kind of tired of hiding my sexuality from my family (they're completely accepting of the LGBTQ community so i know they'll be ok with it) and the reason it's taken me this long is because i haven't been able to stick with the gay label or the bi label for very long. i'm a 5 on the Kinsey scale (i'm mostly attracted to girls but occasionally i do like guys) and i feel ready to come out. does anyone have any experience with coming out when you don't like labels? any advice would be appriciated
I think the best way would be to say what you just said here. Or something along those lines. Explain that you don't like labels and that you don't want to be asked about them, but that you like girls and occasionaly guys. Good luck (*hug*)
