How to tell my parents about my roomates

    So I switched to trans housing in college without telling my parents, since they don't know I'm trans. There's three days until I move in and I feel like I should tell them so they don't freak out if my roommate is "noticeably trans." I don't know how they would react but I think they would be ok if I gave them time but might be upset at first. Should I even tell them? How do I do it? The problem is I would probably be coming out in the process which terrifies me. My mom already suspects it though. Thanks in advance for any advice
