I came out to my mum before , i waited untill her bf went to bed and then i got out the personalised rainbow bank card that i ordered , and told her that my personalised card cane , she wasnt bothered so i asked her if she wanted to see it , she said ok then , she looked at it and asked what is it , so i said its a rainbow sploge thing , so she said why did u get that , and then i said why do you think , she looked confused and didn't understand, so i said what do you assossiate with rainbows and she said i dont know , rain , sun , so i just said no mum im gay , my heart was racing and i was shitting in the build up but as soon as i said , im gay , i was just like is that is , 3 years waiting to tell her i was gay , my freinds have known for ages but its not the same , i was like is that it , it was harder telling my freinds, she was accepting , she said its ok i still love you , you cant help who you are , and she asked if i thought shed go mad , she asked me who else ide told and how long ide known , she asked if i had a bf , and gave me a massive hug , but she was confused at how i knew if ide never had a bf , to which i said well how did u know you where streight , it was a tad awkward but im glad she knows , now its just for the rest of the family , i just wanna say a big thanks to this website for all the advice and support
